Tragedy in Wisconsin

"An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind." — Mahatma Gandhi

ANOTHER HORRIFIC ACT of violence took place August 5 motivated by hatred of those perceived as "other." Wade Page, 40, who had immersed himself in white supremacist beliefs and activities for more than a dozen years, entered a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin and murdered seven people and left two more in critical condition.

The only thing I know to do as an antidote is to find some positive action that may be taken in response. Consider a donation to the Southern Poverty Law Center. There are perhaps other anti-hate organizations that are also worthy, but this is the one I know the most about and support.
