Pastor Jones

"Man — he is the only animal that loves his neighbor as himself, and cuts his throat if his theology
isn't straight." — Mark Twain, The Lowest Animal, 1897

PAUL GOT an alert on his i-Phone this morning about UN workers in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan being hunted down and killed. The murders took place during protests in response to a Quran burning by "PastorTerry Jones in Florida on March 20. Here's part of what CNN said:

"On Friday, a bloody attack on a United Nations building in Mazar-e Sharif is suspected to have been carried out by a mob protesting last month's Quran burning by Pastor Terry Jones. The Florida pastor made headlines last year when he threatened to burn Qurans to protest Islam, on the anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. On March 20, he went through with the act, this time failing to attract widespread media attention. However, the incident triggered outrage in Pakistan, which condemned the desecration and called for him to be charged with terrorism."

Nothing "Pastor" Jones did could justify violence, but what kind of person deliberately provokes an already very, very volatile situation?

Paul said that if he were all powerful, he'd snatch "Pastor" Jones and drop him off in Afghanistan with a note pinned on his shirt that says, "Take him, he's yours. We really don't want him."
